This term Clendon Park School has had the great privilege to take part in Community swimming at the local Manurewa pools. The children's have really enjoyed taking part in the the learn to Swim program provided by Manurewa Pools every Tuesday. They have also learnt how to be safe around water. It has been amazing to see how much the children have grown in terms of their swimming skills. It has also brought up the children's confidence in terms of being around water which is great to see. We look forward to having more community swim lessons in summer.

Room 16 has been able to take part in the Travel Wise program this term. We had our local constable come and teach our class about how to stay safe around roads. The children really engaged well and really enjoyed the session. The purpose of the Travel Wise program in Schools is to make travel to schools safer, healthier and more fun for our tamariki.
